A Valentine's Day Note Just For You

The Sanctity Of Seduction
What is seduction? Why is it important? Seduction is an interruption of the mundaneā¦but itās so much more than that.
Have you ever been seduced by someone you also desired? When was the last time? When was the last time you seduced? How did it go?
What is seduction? It is the human version of a mating ritual, a ceremonial act of expression that clearly states, āI want you, I want you now, and I want you to want me.ā Thereās a sanctity that comes with seduction. A holiness. A safe space that leaves no room for doubt. Seduction with a stranger just doesnāt hit the same way and carry the same weight when love isnāt involved. Itās the love that makes this particular ritual Divine.
Experiencing the feeling of letting go, welcoming vulnerability, and submerging in a sanctuary where we feel safe and have comfort knowing that we are desired by our person and desired heavily is an incredible and indescribable feeling.
Seduction is the magic elixir that keeps relationships and individuals young. Sometimes we dress up to seduce, sometimes itās playful and fun, sometimes thereās an intensity of focus. The anticipatory moment before the show begins.

All this attention for lil old meee!? You shouldnāt haveā¦but keep going. I love the attention.
Seduction is an expression of attention. Extreme attention where we feel like the only person that exists in the world of another and vice versa.
I want you and I want to show you how much I want you right now. Nothing else matters. Everything else can wait.
To be appreciated in a relationship should be expected. To be desired in a relationship increases longevity tenfold. To seduce and still be seduced gives the relationship a holy glow that is undeniable to others but the others donāt even matter.
Itās just. about. the two.

What is a relationship without seduction?
Itās fine. Itās ok. Itās alright. Itās āmehā.
Words of a prisoner who has accepted their purgatory.
Seduction is meant to be expressed throughout a union. How else would you have met if there was no seducing? How else would you know that youāre really wanted more than just as a buddy? Seduction is one of the key ingredients to the new car smell in the beginning. Relationships need that spritz to keep blandness at bay, āmeh-nessā far away, staleness nonexistent, and a lowered self-esteem an afterthought.
What if everything is fine and dandy? Gifts still get exchanged. New experiences are still shared. Responsibilities are still met. Everything else is good.
You donāt just escape, āItās fineā and āmehā with routine.
Without seduction, a relationship is reduced to two people unknowingly taking part in a buddy cop film.

Just going through the motionsā¦with some caffeine added
Respectful but lukewarm. Predictable but lacking life and vigor.
It becomes a reliable flat soda.
A relationship that lacks seduction not only ages the parties involved, it creates doubts that get louder and louder the longer seduction is absent. Am I still sexy? Am I even desired anymore? Is it me? This is my fault somehow begins to creep into the crevices of the mind and it never goes away on its own, it just lingers and hums in the background of thought.
Relationships absent seduction is purgatory but even worse, Pleasantville where one has to fake a smile at public gatherings. If you want some noticeable wrinkles around your mouth, smile but donāt mean it.
Itās natureās way of punishing one for living a lie.

The sacredness of seduction is imperative for a union and itās not just about sex. Itās about attention and attention to the details. Eye contact that speaks a definite and exclusive language. Flirting, but detailed. Admiring, but detailed. Appreciation, but with a laser-guided chisel.
What is seduction? Seduction is the lifeblood of every relationship as itās a culmination of all of the positive expressions of desire. Seduction reassures.
The absence of seduction is the absence of holiness in a union. What replaces seduction when itās not there? The antonym:

Discouragement & Repulsion
That is not a holy union but the opposite; unholy. The discouragement of not feeling desired. The initiation of the repelling that eventually leads to the severing of ties.
So what is missing in relationships and marriages that are failing?
Focus and action.
The more one focuses, the more one sees. The more one sees the more they will notice nuance. Nuance increases curiosity. Curiosity leads to courting. Courting is none other than seduction. Seduction is an action. Itās more than words.
The caveat to this entire process and the most important variable is if one has the desire to focus.
What is seduction?
Seduction is the union of focus, attention, desire, appreciation and expression.
You of all people deserve to be seduced and not just because today is Valentineās Day.
You deserve seduction.
With Love; Your Honest Friend,
OāNeil Smile
